Candidates for Peralta Community College District Board of Trustees - Area 7 Seth Steward and Sheweet Yohannes will answer questions on issues important to voters.

Why this race is important

The Peralta Community College District is a collaborative of colleges in northern Alameda County. Its mission is to advance social and economic transformation for students and the community through quality education rooted in equality, social justice, environmental sustainability, and partnerships. The Community College District Board of Trustees sets the overall vision for the college district. They have a wide range of responsibilities, including adopting an annual budget, hiring key people, and making sure that the college district is achieving its goals.
