How do I register to vote by mail?
Vote by mail is permanent, every registered voter will be sent a vote-by-mail ballot

Your ballot needs to be postmarked on or before Election day

California has early voting, you don’t have to wait until election day to vote.

Why is there a special election and who is eligible to vote?

Last day to register to vote is October 23, 2023.
A ballot will be mailed, around October 9, to every registered voter living in District 5. Remember you will not receive a ballot unless the Registrar has your current mailing address.
Vote! Presidential Primary Election: March 5, 2024

Last day to register for the March 5 election is February 20, 2024.
