About the Event
Gather with League members for the annual business meeting to elect officers and directors, approve budget and discuss the LWVO agenda for 2023-24. Special presentation by Lorrel Plimier, incoming Director, League of Women Voters California (and President, LWV Piedmont), including a discussion of the State and national perspectives and priorities.
Following the business meeting, Annie Campbell-Washington, Dean of Students, University of California Berkeley Goldman School of Public Policy and former Oakland City Councilmember, will moderate a roundtable with Oakland Youth Commissioners Airieanna Murrell and Sarah Turley, joined by LWVO YOUth Decide alumna Francesca Hales.
Note: Start time: 9:30 a.m. Lunch will be served. Ample free parking.
