Candidate Forum: Oakland Unified School District 2

Candidates will answer questions affecting the future of Oakland public schools especially in the neighborhoods of Chinatown, Eastlake, San Antonio, and Grand Lake. 

Moderator: Stacy Smith, League of Women Voters Oakland and SKS Consulting 

School Board directors are elected to work as a team with the superintendent to ensure students have access to a quality education. They set direction, adopt and monitor a budget, oversee the  superintendent and advocate for children, the school district and public schools.
