Candidate Forum: Oakland Unified School District 4

Candidates will answer questions affecting Oakland public schools including in the Panoramic Hill, Glen Highlands, Dimond, Oakmore, Lincoln Highlands, Glenview, Laurel, Redwood Heights, Montclair, Crestmont, and Allendale, neighborhoods among others. School Board directors are elected to work as a team with the superintendent to ensure students have access to a quality education. They set direction, adopt and monitor a budget, oversee the  superintendent and advocate for children, the school district and public schools.
