About the Event
Experience a private, guided tour of the museum's powerful new exhibit, which explores the Black Panther Party's 65 community survival programs designed to meet urgent community needs and mobilize the masses. Learn about the history, methodology, and lasting legacy of these lifelines born in Oakland and replicated across the nation.
As part of this special event, Dr. Xavier Buck, Executive Director and in-house historian, will lead the tour and share an in-depth history of the exhibit, followed by a Q&A session.
Cost: $20 per guest (cash or check to League of Women Voters of Oakland)
