About the Event
A fascinating piece of national history that’s docked in Oakland is the USS Potomac - the Floating White House that was President Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s Presidential Yacht. Come join us for a step back in time with a dockside tour of this historic landmark!
This tour costs $10 (please bring cash).
Flat-soled shoes are required! No food, drink or dogs allowed.
10:15 am: If you would like to meet for coffee, see you at Waterfront Cafe (on Water Street at Broadway) or at the benches outside.
10:55-11 am: Meet at the USS Potomac office.
11 am: Tour begins (1 hour long).
Street parking is free on Sundays or there are a few parking garages in the area.
