About the Event
Join us to explore a part of Oakland’s early history at the Pardee Home Museum and learn about the contributions of three generations of the Pardee family to the City of Oakland and the State of California. Mrs. George C. Pardee was an organizer of Oakland Forum (est. 1925 ) which was an auxiliary of the National League of Women Voters. On our tour we will be able to view a special piece of history, the first volume of A History of Woman Suffrage by Susan B. Anthony with a personal inscription to George Pardee from Anthony.
This tour costs $10 (please bring cash).
10:15: Meet at the Pardee Home Museum
10:30 am: Tour begins (1.5 hour long)
Parking: There is metered parking near the museum.
