Help wanted: Lead of Social Media Team


Tasks:

o Gather and create ideas for posts on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn

o Determine schedule for posts and drive each to completion

o Work with high school student interns on designs


Required skills:

o Organizing projects;

o Communicating and coordinating with many people;

o Learning/ using digital tools (e.g Slack, Canva, Google Docs, Later.com)

Note: Prior experience in these exact tools is NOT required


Desired skills: Design and copywriting


We are looking for someone to be the point person for the LWVO social media presence, but you will be supported by LWVO leaders and an experienced paid consultant, who will help with language, editing, design, and technology as you need it. If you are a driven, organized person who is looking to better your skills in any of those areas, this is a great opportunity. In return, we do ask for a minimum 3-4-month commitment.
